We love to design events at Sunset Da Mona Lisa restaurant because this location is iconic Cabo! Situated directly on the cliffs overlooking Monument Beach with the best view of Medano Bay and the Cabo arch, if you have a wedding here you will awe your guests with an unforgettable sunset and the romance of the city lights as night falls. For our fantastic clients Edna and Ricardo, we wanted to create wedding decor for them that was romantic, timeless, and that maximized all the beauty of this naturally fabulous location. Here’s how we did it!

#1 This venue is all about the terraces! We used each terrace to create individual event spaces.  This was the cocktail hour terrace, overlooking the crashing waves!flowers&events-097

#2 Sunset Da Mona Lisa’s palapa covered dining area is true Cabo at it’s best.  We maximized this location by seating the bride & groom’s sweetheart table by the glass wall (looking directly over the bay) but looking out toward all of the guest’s seating.  (Another wedding To Do: Keep your sweetheart table floral arrangements low – so everyone can see the special couple – and the round guest table arrangements high, so all the guests can easily chat. flowers&events-119 #3 Know which terrace areas to use and when.  This terrace where we set up the ceremony decor has the most sweeping view of the arch and the sunset.  Ceremony time? Right at sunset! We also know that adding decor to a terrace adds to the glamour…and does not take away from the amazing view. flowers&events-162 #4 Your dinner tables can be spread out throughout your venue.  Use all of the “hot spots” (those areas with the most gorgeous views) even if that means separating your tables a bit.  Remember, your guests have plenty of opportunities to interact…their dinner can be intimate! flowers&events-107We loved this wedding set-up and especially loved having a chance to work with this wonderful couple, Edna & Ricardo!
